The Role

  • We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer specializing in Additive Manufacturing for a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
  • This role suits a technically strong, commercially driven sales professional who can develop additive manufacturing opportunities across the UAE — engaging industrial companies, government entities, defence, energy, aerospace, universities, and research institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline for AM systems, 3D printers, 3D scanners, materials and software across the UAE.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and conduct frequent customer visits to assess applications, production requirements, site readiness, and investment goals.
  • Translate customer needs into complete technical and commercial solutions: machine selection, materials, process workflows, and production planning.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, pre sales technical support, and solution based proposals to engineering, R&D, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial discussions using a consultative, value based approach focused on ROI, production capability, and total cost of ownership.
  • Coordinate with OEM partners, application engineers, and service teams to ensure smooth delivery, installation, commissioning, training, and integration of the technology into customer workflows.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key accounts in manufacturing, defence, aerospace, energy, oil & gas, education, and government.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM updates, weekly reports, forecasts, and pipeline reviews, and support exhibitions and technical events.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in additive manufacturing, 3D scanning, industrial machinery or advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of AM technologies, LPBF, EB PBF, SLS, SLA, FFF, FGF, DED or binder jetting.
  • Proven experience with industrial clients, government entities, Defence, Oil & Gas, energy and research institutions in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of UAE procurement cycles, tendering processes, and industrial localization initiatives is a strong advantage.
  • Background in application engineering or 3D printing operations is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD, slicing/build preparation software. Reverse engineering workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications (GD&T basics preferred).
  • Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel across the territory and the GCC as required.
  • English fluency required; Arabic is an advantage.
