Job Summary

Business Development and Project Pursuit

• Identify and qualify strategic capital project opportunities.
• Lead project pursuits from Pre-FEED and FEED through purchase order award.
• Develop pursuit strategies, pursue prequalification opportunities, and manage the opportunity pipeline.
• Build influence with key stakeholders to strengthen Emerson’s value proposition.

Customer and Market Development

• Build relationships with EPC contractors, FEED consultants, OEMs, end users, and project influencers.
• Generate sales opportunities through process application and customer operations knowledge.
• Drive brownfield, MRO, and Lifecycle Services growth within assigned accounts.
• Conduct site surveys and customer visits.

Market Intelligence and Industry Engagement

• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity.
• Provide market intelligence, forecasts, and business insights for planning.
• Represent Emerson at industry events, seminars, conferences, and customer forums.
• Promote Emerson technologies and capabilities across EPC and end-user communities.

Compliance and Ethics

• Conduct activities in accordance with trade compliance, ethics, quality, and HSE policies.
• Maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism in business interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, instrumentation, chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant project sales, business development, or end-user sales experience.
• Experience with major EPC contractors in Qatar or the GCC region.
• Knowledge of project pursuit methodologies and sales cycle management.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship management, and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with QatarEnergy, QatarEnergy LNG, and end-user project execution practices.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar project sales opportunities through contract award.
• Knowledge of control valve technologies, applications, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of hydrocarbon, oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, and related process industries.
• Arabic language skills are considered advantageous.
