Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor safety activities at the factory and work sites.
• Prepare HSE manuals, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
• Ensure employees and workers use required PPE.
• Monitor safe practices for machinery, production, lifting operations, and material handling.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, checklists, and HSE documentation.
• Prepare HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid safety or HSE certification is required.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Industrial or project site experience is required.
• Factory or manufacturing experience is required/preferred in the source.
• Steel factory or steel manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience preparing HSE manuals, procedures, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and UAE HSE requirements.
• Good English communication and reporting skills.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or another recognized HSE or safety certification is preferred.

Compensation

• Salary is based on experience, qualifications, and relevant industry background.
• The posting states pay from AED 2,062.62 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person at the factory and project sites.
