Al Awtan Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Officer for construction work in Dubai, UAE.
The role supports safety compliance on high-rise and building construction projects.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 7,000–9,000 per month.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of safety or HSE experience in UAE construction projects.
- Strong experience with main contracting companies in Dubai.
- Experience in high-rise or building construction projects.
- DDA approval or Trakhees approval is required.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety requirements.
- Experience with site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and safety documentation.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Immediate availability is advantageous.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities
- Support and enforce construction-site safety requirements and applicable UAE HSE regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
- Perform risk assessments for construction activities and recommend controls.
- Lead or deliver toolbox talks for site personnel.
- Report and document incidents and support follow-up actions.
- Maintain safety documentation and HSE records.
- Coordinate safety matters with construction and contracting teams.
- Support compliance on high-rise and building construction projects in Dubai.
