Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, engineering, science, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant HSE or safety experience.
- Manufacturing and construction experience is preferred.
Certifications
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, First Aid, Fire Safety, or other relevant HSE qualifications are preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness.
- Knowledge of applicable UAE HSE laws and regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and other relevant local requirements.
HSE Activities
- Conduct safety inspections, internal audits, toolbox talks, and HSE training.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, reports, and corrective-action plans.
- Use strong communication and leadership skills in safety activities.
