AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join a project team based in Umluj, Saudi Arabia.
The role supports complex projects and programs through risk, issue, opportunity, dependency, governance, reporting, and delivery management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and monitor risk, issue, and opportunity management processes and maintain the program risk matrix.
- Identify and manage dependencies, schedule impacts, opportunities, internal risks, external risks, and inter-program risks.
- Implement the Risk Management Plan, Risk Log, and governance processes and track significant risks through evaluation and mitigation.
- Review and update the Risk Log against program status reports and meetings.
- Provide management information, monitor project progress, and drive delivery where appropriate.
- Enable program-level risk and opportunity management and ensure project interdependencies are understood and managed.
- Help establish standards, support supplier negotiations and value for money, transfer knowledge, and implement best-practice processes.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 20 years of experience in risk management.
- At least five years as a Risk Manager in the construction or engineering industry.
- Graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or an equivalent qualification.
- Risk management qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- Understanding and experience of complex projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Demonstrated track record of risk management.
