Role overview
CesiumAstro develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
The company is seeking a Senior RF Engineer with board-level RF electronics design experience.
The role covers RF hardware development for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop RF circuits and systems through all phases of product development.
- Design board-level RF schematics and PCB layouts.
- Apply link budgets, modulation schemes, and other system-level communications concepts.
- Work on phased array systems, RF front-ends, converters, synthesizers, filters, beamformers, power dividers, and antennas.
- Own hardware designs from concept and requirements through testing, qualification, and in-orbit support.
- Create block diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, simulations, and test designs.
- Present engineering design reviews to customers and executives and support proposal writing.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in RF electronics design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
