Role Overview
Lead delivery of assigned construction project packages while meeting schedule, budget, and quality targets.
The role focuses on microtunneling and drainage works and requires coordination with clients, contractors, supervision teams, and authorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage contractors and supervise daily construction inspections.
- Ensure HSE compliance and resolve site-related engineering issues.
- Review technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and construction drawings.
- Monitor progress, schedules, cost control, variations, claims, and change requests.
- Prepare project execution, HSE, and quality control plans.
- Mentor subordinate engineers and inspectors and monitor corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
- At least 20 years of experience in a senior-level position.
- Ability to liaise with Dubai Municipality and service authorities.
- Knowledge of excavation, backfilling, asphalt and tile reinstatement, NDRC methods, and RTA and DM standards.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of Dubai sewerage networks, DM contract conditions, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and Primavera P3.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera P3.
