Role Overview
Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Resident Construction Engineer to oversee project goals, manage contractors, and ensure quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure contractors meet project and business goals such as KPIs, safety, quality, time, and budget
- Initiate and chair regular meetings and workshops to deliver works to agreed quality standards, budgets, and timeframes
- Provide project management guidance in interpretation of specifications, procedures, methods, schedule, and productivity
- Supervise Resident Construction Engineers and administrative support staff
- Review and approve Contractor's Monthly Invoices and Progress reports
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, operations, and other Client departments to resolve technical issues and manage construction interfaces
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant field from a Western University
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in Project Management or Construction Management
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Ability to obtain a Saudi Driver License
- Experience with multi-craft and multi-discipline construction practices in a multi-cultural environment
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years' international industry exposure
- Fluency in Arabic (oral and written)
