Responsibilities

• Drive major AI R&D initiatives with the AI Director.
• Bridge East Coast and European time zones across teams and projects.
• Align and motivate teams toward clear goals and develop high-performing, self-organizing teams.
• Remove bottlenecks, foster incremental delivery, and improve production processes.
• Manage AI initiatives while balancing resources, scope, schedules, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Maintain external partner relationships and advocate for beneficial improvements.
• Gather internal feedback and adjust processes and approaches accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software project management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with the full cycle of an AI product, AI research, or game development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and demonstrable emotional intelligence.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and rally multiple teams toward shared goals.
• Self-driven, proactive, accountable, intellectually curious, and able to resolve problems with minimal oversight.
• Experience with project management tools such as Hansoft, Jira, Confluence, or Office suite.
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort modeling and analyzing data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the AI and gaming industries.
• Good mastery of Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Work Arrangement

• The position may be hybrid or in-office, or fully remote.

Compensation

• Estimated annual pay range is CAD 108,100 to CAD 178,400.
• North American compensation is based on market data, geographic location, business needs, experience, and qualifications.
