Key Responsibilities
- Lead track engineering design packages from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
- Perform CSR responsibilities, acting as the primary engineering reference point on-site to inspect works, manage design variations, and resolve technical issues.
- Drive stakeholder engagement with rail authorities, contractors, client delivery teams, and third parties.
- Conduct constructability reviews, safety-in-design assessments, and quality audits.
- Mentor and develop intermediate and graduate engineers within the rail team.
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of civil/rail engineering experience, with a proven track record delivering Australian rail projects.
Solid background in site representation, construction phase support, and interface management on live rail corridors.
In-depth knowledge of rail standards (e.g., TfNSW/ASA, ARTCS, V/Line, or QR standards) and rail delivery frameworks.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate outcomes between design offices and site teams.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or relevant degree and CPEng
