Responsibilities
- Lead the development of novel pesticide formulations, from concept to commercialization, ensuring efficacy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and execute complex laboratory experiments to optimize active ingredient delivery, stability, and user friendliness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve formulation challenges, identifying root causes and implementing innovative solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive stability studies and compatibility testing to guarantee product shelf life and performance.
- Collaborate closely with regulatory affairs teams to ensure formulations meet global registration requirements.
- Scale up laboratory formulations to pilot and commercial manufacturing, providing technical guidance.
- Stay abreast of cutting edge formulation technologies and industry trends.
- Manage and mentor junior chemists and technicians, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and safety.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for raw material, in process, and finished product testing.
- Prepare technical reports, patents, and scientific publications to document research findings.
