Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Measure and price work using contract drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Handle interim and final payments, variations, correspondence, cash flows, and claims.
• Advise on contractual matters and verify contractual requirements.
• Advise on contractor resource allocation.
• Audit contractor payments and ensure complete, prompt valuations.
• Check and record measures of work done.
• Prepare variations and day-works.
• Monitor final cost estimates and maintain expenditure records.
• Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements.
• Coordinate and monitor the quantity surveying team.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Perform other duties associated with the position as appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 12 years of quantity surveying experience.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Experience preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Experience revising bills of quantities and prices to verify available funds.
• Excellent Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills.
• International work experience is preferred, particularly experience in KSA.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
