Role overview
Masterplex Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for high-end villa projects.
The role covers cost estimation, tendering, procurement and financial reporting while maintaining project budgets and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in quantity surveying or a comparable cost-management role.
- Experience in Dubai’s construction industry.
- Specialization or experience with high-end villa projects.
Cost estimation and budgeting
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies and bills of quantities.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
- Monitor cost plans and cash-flow projections to ensure cost efficiency.
Tendering and procurement
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities and pricing schedules.
- Analyse and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Assist in developing procurement strategies focused on cost savings and quality.
Financial and cost control
- Track project costs, expenditure reports and budget variances.
- Prepare and submit progress payment applications and cost reports.
- Monitor and manage cash-flow forecasting for each project.
