Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 10 years of experience in both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
The ideal candidate will have a strong consultancy background and be capable of managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- **Pre-Contract Duties:**
- Cost estimation and budgeting
- Preparation of tender documents and BOQs
- Tender evaluation and contract negotiation
- **Post-Contract Duties:**
- Contract administration and cost control
- Valuation of work done and certification of payments
- Variation analysis and claims management
- Final account preparation and settlement
- **Project Cost Management:**
- Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets
- Provide cost advice and financial reporting to stakeholders
- **Coordination & Reporting:**
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Prepare regular cost reports and project updates
Requirements
- Minimum **10 years of experience** in Quantity Surveying
- Strong experience in **both pre-contract and post-contract** phases
- **Consultancy background is mandatory**
- **Professional qualification such as MRICS is required**
- Strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction practices
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
