Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Measure and verify quantities and maintain quantity and cost records.
• Review contractor payment applications and support interim payment certificates.
• Evaluate new-item unit rates, manage dayworks records, and support cost control.
• Prepare and administer variations, claims, and change orders.
• Evaluate entitlement and provide recommendations on claims and variations.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors on commercial matters.
• Maintain documentation for final account close-out.
• Support settlement negotiations and assist with final account preparation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in quantity surveying and contract administration is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the UAE is required.
• Strong knowledge of contractual and commercial processes, measurement, payment certification, variations, and claims.
• Strong computer literacy, reporting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Relevant professional certification such as RICS or another commercial or quantity surveying certification.
• Experience in a construction supervision or PMC environment in the UAE.
