Senior Quality Engineer

symplr is looking for an experienced Automation Quality Engineer to join the Platform team.

The candidate must have proven expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using ReadyAPI/RestSharp/RestAssured and UI automation using WebDriverIO or other industry-standard tools.
• Lead Mobile Application testing (Android and iOS) and automation efforts.
• Perform detailed manual testing of applications to identify defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and execute test cases and strategies for both manual and automated testing to meet project requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects in applications and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Create and manage test data sets to simulate various real-world scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous delivery and seamless deployment processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to understand testing requirements and ensure quality.
• 7+ years’ proven experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Experience with testing tools such as WebDriverIO/ any UI Automation tool , Postman, ReadyAPI / RestSharp/ any API automation tool .
• Proficiency in languages like TypeScript, Groovy, or Java .
• Extensive experience testing APIs/web services (REST, SOAP, etc.) using Postman .
• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, Secrets Manager).
• Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps and Zephyr.
• Proven experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Experience using GitHub for version control.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous learning mindset with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
