About the Role
RAQ is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer for full-time, on-site work in Dubai. The role involves overseeing quality assurance and control activities on construction projects, including inspections, material testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and inspection regimes in line with project specifications and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections, supervise material testing, and review method statements and work procedures
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Prepare QA/QC documentation and reports, maintain records for audits, and support handover procedures
- Mentor junior team members on quality best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Several years of relevant QA/QC experience in general contracting or building construction, preferably in UAE or GCC
- Strong foundation in construction quality management including QA/QC planning, site inspections, and documentation
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards
- Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies such as checklists, ITPs, and root cause analysis
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and their integration into quality processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Professional certifications in quality (e.g., ISO based QA/QC, CQE) are an advantage

- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and their integration into quality processes.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; professional certifications in quality are an advantage.
- Several years of relevant QA/QC experience in general contracting or building construction, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to dynamic project needs.
