Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks across web, mobile and API platforms
- Build automated regression, integration and functional test suites to improve release quality and speed
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments
- Define test strategies, test plans and acceptance criteria for new product features
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks to improve coverage, scalability and maintainability
- Work closely with developers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify, investigate and track defects, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Analyse test execution results and provide meaningful reporting and quality metrics
- Champion quality engineering best practices across Agile teams
- Mentor and support junior QA Automation Engineers, sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years' experience in QA Automation, ideally within Agile software development environments
- Experience testing complex, business critical or financial applications
- Strong experience with web, mobile and API testing
- Programming experience in one or more of: Golang, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Dart or similar languages
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, k6 or equivalent
- Experience testing Flutter applications using flutter test and Mockito
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and source control tools including Git, GitLab and GitHub
- Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of microservices architecture and native mobile testing frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non technical teams

Role Overview
- Our client is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation and continuous improvement.
- This is a fully remote opportunity; you'll need to be available during Gulf Standard Time (GST/UTC+4) business hours.

You'll ideally have
