Senior QC Inspector (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to COMPANY Quality Teams and act as the focal point for assigned inspection activities.
• Supervise and manage QC Inspectors and inspection personnel as directed by COMPANY Quality Representatives.
• Review and implement Quality Management System (QMS) Procedures, Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements.
• Conduct inspections and witness testing for activities performed by EPC Contractors and Manufacturers.
• Review, verify, and endorse inspection and testing records for compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Monitor the performance of Contractor and Manufacturer QC personnel and report any quality concerns.
• Attend and represent the client in QA/QC meetings with contractor(s) at site and yard.
• Perform material receiving inspections and verify compliance with project specifications.
• Witness and inspect fabrication, manufacturing, testing and material verification activities.
• Conduct inspections of welding activities including procedures, qualifications, fit up, welding, consumables.
• Conduct inspections of painting/coating activities including material verification, surface preparation, application processes.
• Review and comment field NDE procedures, witness NDT activities, review/endorse NDT results.
