Job summary
The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for project QA/QC activities and implementation of the quality management system.
The role supports EGEC projects by ensuring compliance with QMS requirements.
QA/QC responsibilities
- Manage quality and workmanship for civil, architectural, and structural construction activities.
- Maintain project certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-conformance reports, and site observations.
- Develop inspection and testing standards and oversee testing methods.
- Review site materials for compliance with project specifications.
- Supervise inspection schedules, audits, procedures, and quality processes.
- Coordinate with employees, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams to maintain quality.
- Analyze non-conformances, maintain project records, and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Develop method statements, risk assessments, job safety environmental analyses, Inspection Test Plans, and checklists.
- Coordinate material submittals and inspections with technical engineers, consultants, and site personnel.
Education and qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- At least 10 years of experience is required.
- UPDA certification is mandatory.
- ISO 9001 or QMS-related qualification is mandatory.
