Responsibilities
- Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures
- Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, method statements, and relevant standards
- Supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors to ensure effective quality control throughout project execution
- Review and verify material submittals, method statements, inspection requests (IRs), and test reports
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and third party testing agencies
- Monitor site activities and identify quality issues, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions
- Raise, monitor, and close Non Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and corrective action requests
- Conduct internal quality audits and routine site surveillance
- Ensure all laboratory and field tests are performed in accordance with project specifications and approved standards
- Review and maintain quality records, inspection reports, material approvals, and as built documentation
- Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with contractual quality requirements
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports, KPIs, and quality trend analyses
Requirements
- Experience in construction quality assurance and quality control
- Knowledge of project quality plans, ITPs, and quality procedures
- Ability to supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors
- Experience with non conformance reports and corrective actions
