Role Overview

Experience and Qualifications

• Requires 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience primarily using Python.
• Requires deep practical experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Requires advanced proficiency in JSON parsing, data serialization, and API integrations.
• Requires strong MongoDB experience and working knowledge of relational databases and ORM/ODM libraries.
• Requires Linux, Git, Agile/Scrum, sprint planning, and test-driven development experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend services and microservices using Python.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas while integrating third-party and downstream systems.
• Model and optimize MongoDB and relational databases for performance and data integrity.
• Develop, deploy, and debug applications in Linux or Unix environments.
• Drive clean architecture, testing, code reviews, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship.

Preferred Skills

• Preferred experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift.
• Preferred experience includes Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Preferred familiarity includes Ansible or Terraform and application monitoring, logging, and metrics stacks.
• Preferred soft skills include technical communication, mentorship, pragmatic problem-solving, and end-to-end ownership.

Workplace and Availability

• The position is based in Bangalore and requires working from the office five days per week.
• The requested notice period is immediate or under 30 days.
