Responsibilities
- Handle purchase and procurement activities for bearings and related products
- Source products from local and international suppliers
- Identify reliable suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and trading partners
- Request quotations and prepare price comparison reports
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and purchase conditions
- Prepare and process purchase orders as per company requirements
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, shipment status, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, accounts, and logistics teams
- Ensure purchased items match required specifications, bearing numbers, brands, and quality standards
- Maintain supplier records, purchase documents, invoices, and related data
- Monitor market prices, product availability, and supplier performance
- Resolve supplier issues such as wrong items, delays, quality concerns, or price differences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of purchase/procurement experience
- Experience in the bearing industry, automotive spare parts, industrial spare parts, or mechanical products preferred
- Strong knowledge of local and international purchasing procedures
- Ability to read and understand product codes, bearing numbers, part numbers, and technical specifications
- Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, ERP, or inventory management software
- Good command of English

Job Overview
- SMS Bearings FZCO is looking for an experienced and detail oriented Senior Purchase Executive / Senior Purchase Officer with strong knowledge of the bearing industry, industrial spare parts, automotive bearings, and related products.
- This is a full time, on site role based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
- The ideal candidate must have 5 to 7 years of purchase/procurement experience and must be capable of sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, comparing prices, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with local and international suppliers.
