Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations of 2 or more assigned properties or 1 property over 500 units
- Provide input into development of budgets for assigned properties
- Meet targeted revenues by setting rent rates, ensuring rent and fees are collected and posted
- Approve invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Control expenditures within approved budget
- Oversee lease enforcement process including approving applications and conducting inspections
- Gather and analyze market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and requests
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards
- Supervise property staff by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees
- Assist in managing client/owner relationship
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business, Real Estate, or related fields
- Valid real estate license or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment
- 3 to 5 years minimum of relevant experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the real estate industry
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of current market trends and regulatory requirements
- Ability to create and manage stakeholder relationships

Job Description Summary

- Manages team members, daily activities, and resources to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies, Canadian Human Rights Act, Provincial Fair Housing Laws, and other regulations.
