Job Summary The Revenue Cycle Sr Project Manager is a highly experienced professional responsible for coordinating and managing multiple, complex Oracle Health (Cerner) Revenue Cycle projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
This role requires strong project management discipline, excellent follow-through, and sound judgment in balancing scope, schedule, and budget.
The Project Manager must be able to plan, organize, and deliver while navigating ambiguity, maintaining attention to detail, and communicating clearly with all levels of the organization — from technical teams to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate demonstrates emotional intelligence, discernment, and accountability, ensuring projects stay on track, stakeholders stay informed, and organizational objectives are consistently met.
Essential Functions
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple concurrent Revenue Cycle projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within established scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans using Smartsheet and other project management tools, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including hospital executives, clinicians, analysts, and vendors—to ensure alignment, effective communication, and project clarity. Utilize project management tools to centralize project information, enhance team collaboration, and support reporting needs.
- Manages large-scale or mission-critical projects with complex scope and high visibility.
- Leads stakeholder engagement, executive updates, and vendor relationships.
