VolkerStevin has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join their Water Framework on AMP8. The role involves leading project teams to deliver civil engineering projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Ensure programme performance of projects within portfolio across all stages
- Ensure commercial performance including change control of projects within portfolio
- Complete Monthly Project Review Dashboards and associated reporting
- Manage all risks and opportunities of projects within portfolio
- Agree project targets with Contracts Manager and ensure progress measured regularly
- Manage and support production of fully resourced programme across portfolio
- Ensure progress monitored and programme updated
- Ensure accurate records maintained to manage change process and variations
- Complete Monthly Client Progress Reports and review with Client PMC/WLPM
- Liaise with UU WLPM's and PMC's and resolve issues
- Monitor resource requirements and report to Contracts Manager / MEICA Manager
- Ensure robust commercial forecasts, risk/opportunity registers and Contract Review Action Logs maintained
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of managing heavy civil engineering projects in the UK and/or overseas, preferably within a Tier 1 contractor environment
- Management of safe systems of works and quality management
- Excellent IT knowledge including use of AUTOCAD and Microsoft suite
- Degree/HNC, or equivalent, in civil engineering desirable
- Member of a professional institution, MCIOB, ICE or similar
- Good communication skills with client representatives, site team and operatives
- Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion

Senior Project Manager Overview
- The Senior Project Manager is the most senior project based member of staff and leader of the project team.
- Responsible for effective and efficient running of the project; ensuring planned, programmed and delivered on time to client satisfaction with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget.
- Reporting lines to Programme Manager and Contracts Manager.
Accountable For
- Programme performance of projects within portfolio across all stages.
- Commercial performance (including change control) of projects within portfolio.
- Accurate completion of Monthly Project Review Dashboards and associated reporting.
- Management of all risks and opportunities of projects within portfolio.

About You
