About the Role
Expanded Structures is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join their work winning function, based in Sale (Manchester) and then moving to project delivery. The role focuses on reinforced concrete structures for major projects, requiring extensive experience in RC structures and large-scale project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to achievement of safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices
- Deliver sub project to client within budget, Quality Assurance standards, on programme and to safety parameters
- Work with planning team to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work
- Assess staff capability and performance
- Manage budget and delivery of section of project
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against plan
- Ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within business and workforce
- Plan programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate to construction team
- Interface with other construction managers and section managers to share best practice
- Monitor external changes to work plans and report effect of change
- Lead section meetings to review Safety, Quality, Progress and Design
- Ensure effective implementation of Laing O'Rourke project management systems and procedures
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)
- Extensive reinforced concrete structures experience
- Experience delivering large scale projects as a number 1
- 10 15+ years' experience
- Bidding experience is beneficial but not essential
