As Project Manager, you’ll balance technical leadership with client service and project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading project planning, design, approvals, and construction administration for municipal linear infrastructure (watermains, sanitary sewers, forcemains).
Managing client relationships and acting as their trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinating design teams, directing engineers and technicians, and ensuring quality in reports, tender packages, drawings, and cost estimates.
Supporting field staff and contract administrators in addressing construction challenges.
Preparing proposals, project reports, design documents, and permit applications.
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their professional development.
Collaborating across Burnside offices to deliver successful, client-focused outcomes.
A degree in engineering and a P.Eng. license in Ontario .
15–20+ years of experience in municipal linear infrastructure design, project management, and client engagement.
Proven track record of managing projects, budgets, and resources effectively.
Knowledge of municipal/provincial approval processes and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and strong attention to detail.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
