To be responsible for fulfilling the duties and obligations of the NEC3 Project Manager on behalf of the Project Client for the full Interchange Station scope.
To be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the design and construction contracts through leadership of the project team and undertaking delegated responsibilities from the Project Client.
To be responsible for working with the supply chain and HS2 Project Controls to create insightful reporting that enables effective decision making at project level and clear points of escalation to the Project Client and beyond.
To be responsible for establishing, monitoring and managing the delivery of consistent design and construction contract management, including identification of emergent or integration problems, leading the multi-functional team to resolution.
To be responsible for managing and monitoring contract performance in collaboration with the HS2 commercial team.
To review and accept programme schedule.
To be responsible for proactively managing risks within the Integrated Project Team scope and support the mitigation of HS2 programme level risks.
To be responsible for the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) duties as delegated by the Client Representative.
To be responsible for the interface with HS2 teams external to the Interchange Project Team, and supporting any third party works and interfaces.
To be responsible for supporting a collaborative culture which enables high performance by encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing between HS2 as the client, other Integrated Project Teams and the supply chain within Integrated Project Teams.

Project Management - the ability to develop, plan and integrate projects to optimise target costs, dependencies, risk management and project benefits. Skills profile aligned to APM Chartered Project Professional or equivalent qualification/skill level.
Problem Solving – the ability to identify problems and review related information in order to manage the development and evaluation of options and implementation of solutions, including the ability to manage and plan multiple workstreams and consider the competing demands of stakeholders, cost, time and quality.

Experience of leading, managing people and working across functions and disciplines to deliver complex objectives, preferably as part of a wider integrated programme of work.
Degree level qualification in project management, engineering, commercial management or the equivalent experience.
