Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
- Develop working relationships, solve problems, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Manage the design process to achieve client requirements and manage expectations.
- Review project plans, specifications, schedules, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, and potential construction problems.
- Manage project safety, environmental requirements, timelines, risks, reporting, and budgets.
- Engage with marketing and business development initiatives.
- Coordinate vendor scope with overall project delivery.
- Draft contract documents using legally approved templates and coordinate contract processing and management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional or tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in a data centre or similar technical environment.
- Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle from inception and design through approvals, construction completion, and post-project review.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential, while Primavera skills are highly regarded.
- Excellent written and spoken English, including report and bid writing.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for delivering for clients.
Technical Knowledge
- Technical understanding of data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical systems, generators, fire, security, and BMS.
