Role overview
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager for ground-up data center construction projects.
The role works with project leadership to coordinate contractors and vendors and oversee day-to-day project activities.
Projects run from pre-construction through commissioning in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of turnkey building projects from pre-construction through commissioning.
- Conduct site observations to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
- Manage design deliverables and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and risks.
- Lead OFCI equipment coordination and support MOPs and commissioning activities.
- Support budgets, invoice validation, cost tracking, resource planning, and equipment logistics.
- Prepare project documentation, bids, leadership reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation while maintaining safety, quality, regulatory, environmental, and sustainability compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in ground-up construction project management within large-scale, mission-critical, or data center environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, cost management, RFIs, submittals, change management, and OFCI coordination.
