Role overview
The Senior Project Manager manages and delivers hospitality, commercial, and residential development projects within time, quality, and budget parameters.
The role steers projects from design inception through construction and handover while coordinating with business, planning, commercial, and facilities stakeholders.
Team leadership
- Lead internal and external consultants, contractors, and commercial staff.
- Delegate tasks according to team members' strengths and skills.
- Provide training, encouragement, and individualized coaching to project team members.
Project delivery
- Ensure projects meet defined quality standards and achieve Completion Certificate receipt.
- Monitor progress and drive project team actions to meet programme targets.
- Maintain project costs within viability limits and submit timely cost reports.
- Conduct value engineering exercises and communicate buildability options within cost parameters.
People and documentation
- Ensure project teams are adequately staffed with competent site staff.
