Role overview
ESP Utilities Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex multi-utility infrastructure projects.
The role is a senior leadership position aligned to APM Body of Knowledge 7th Edition and the APM Competence Framework.
Projects include major utility and infrastructure works delivered under NEC and JCT contractual frameworks.
Location and travel
- The role is site-based and requires travel to project locations four to five days per week.
Key responsibilities
- Lead major multi-utility infrastructure projects from concept through handover using the APM project lifecycle.
- Develop integrated delivery programmes with critical path analysis and milestone tracking.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, compensation events, and commercial controls.
- Coordinate clients, statutory undertakers, designers, subcontractors, and specialist providers.
- Maintain quantified risk registers and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure CDM 2015 compliance and lead pre-construction planning.
- Manage consents, asset adoptions, utility approvals, and accreditation requirements.
