About the Role
An established Middle Eastern consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale industrial projects valued at over 100 million.

The position sits above Project Managers and Resident Engineers and combines portfolio oversight, operational leadership, and senior client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee active industrial projects and provide leadership to Project Managers and Resident Engineers.
- Ensure delivery against agreed programmes, quality standards, commercial targets, and contractual obligations.
- Act as the senior escalation point for unresolved project-level issues.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with Abu Dhabi Port and other key stakeholders.
- Review project health, progress, risks, variations, claims, collections, and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate resources across projects and identify staffing gaps, capability needs, and performance concerns.
- Ensure consistent project management procedures, governance, and reporting standards.
- Provide senior management with visibility of portfolio performance, risks, and required decisions.
- Intervene in challenging client and contractor situations before they become major disputes.
- Support and mentor Project Managers and Resident Engineers.
Experience and Requirements
- Ideally 15–20 or more years of relevant experience with substantial UAE or GCC exposure.
- Strong consultancy or project management consultancy background; purely contractor-side experience is insufficient.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale industrial projects valued at over 100 million.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects and leading Project Managers, Resident Engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness, including variations, claims, collections, and dispute avoidance.
- A track record of managing senior client relationships and resolving complex delivery issues.
- Experience with port authorities or port and logistics environments is advantageous.
Compensation
- Compensation is AED 30,000–AED 40,000 per month.

The successful candidate should be a hands-on, operationally focused leader who can manage demanding client relationships.
The role requires confidence in difficult client meetings, the ability to agree a clear way forward, and follow-through on internal actions.
