Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data center projects from design coordination through commissioning and handover.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource deployment strategies.
• Manage HVAC, cooling, electrical, UPS, DG, IBMS/BMS, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Deliver projects within approved budgets, timelines, and profitability targets.
• Lead project reviews and report project status, financials, and risks to management.
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, procurement activities, and vendor performance.
• Drive testing, commissioning, integrated system testing, and final handover.
• Ensure EHS, quality, and customer specification compliance.
• Oversee change management, variation orders, claims, billing milestones, and collections.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is preferred.
• An MBA or project management certification is an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• The role requires 12-18 years of experience in project execution and project management.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale data center or mission-critical projects is required.
• Experience handling projects with multiple stakeholders and complex technical infrastructure is required.

Technical Skills

• Data center infrastructure and mission-critical infrastructure.
• HVAC, precision cooling systems, chiller plants, and cooling solutions.
• Electrical systems, UPS, and DG systems.
• IBMS/BMS, fire alarm, fire suppression, and ELV systems.
• Project planning and scheduling using MS Project or Primavera.
• Contract and commercial management.
