Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects and manage profitability, schedules, resources, risks, and final delivery.
• Coordinate clients, production staff, senior leadership, headquarters management, and project teams.
• Prepare project documentation, RFIs, design change summaries, drawing packages, and client submissions.
• Review drawing packages and project outputs for standards, specifications, and quality compliance.
• Define roles, deadlines, and workflows while resolving changing requirements and resource constraints.
• Mentor project managers, team leads, detailers, and junior engineers.
• Drive improvements in project workflows, productivity, detailing standards, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a listed diploma/postgraduate qualification in a related specialization.
• At least 10 years of steel detailing experience, with significant related experience considered.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Advanced Tekla Structures knowledge and knowledge of AISC and CISC standards.
• Experience with commercial US projects, steel construction, fabrication, and reading drawings.
• Experience with model checking and erection checking.
• Strong project management, coordination, communication, organization, and deadline-management skills.
