Senior Project Engineer- Mechanical Engineering (BOP)

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. designation required (PMP considered an asset).

10+ years of engineering experience, including previous experience in nuclear, power generation, oil & gas, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, and major equipment suppliers.

Strong expertise in Balance of Plant (BOP) mechanical systems, including: Cooling water systems (circulating, once-through, service, fire, raw, demineralized, and potable water) Pumps, hydraulic systems, heat exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels, and packaged mechanical equipment HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, and heating systems Plant utilities, auxiliary systems, and underground water/piping networks Mechanical equipment procurement, vendor management, and technical bid evaluations Nuclear auxiliary systems and multidisciplinary design integration Construction support, commissioning, startup, and performance testing

Cooling water systems (circulating, once-through, service, fire, raw, demineralized, and potable water)

Pumps, hydraulic systems, heat exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels, and packaged mechanical equipment

HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, and heating systems

Plant utilities, auxiliary systems, and underground water/piping networks

Mechanical equipment procurement, vendor management, and technical bid evaluations

Nuclear auxiliary systems and multidisciplinary design integration

Construction support, commissioning, startup, and performance testing

Proven ability to manage complex mechanical interfaces, support project execution, and deliver engineering solutions that meet technical, schedule, cost, and operational requirements.
