Role Description
The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, KSA, or Kuwait.
The role executes customer projects and covers engineering, detailed design, coordination, installation, and commissioning.
The position includes technical coordination, issue resolution, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical documentation and coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Resolve engineering issues and conduct testing and commissioning activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and project delivery practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on PLC/HMI engineering and field commissioning experience using Rockwell Automation platforms.
- Design, programming, and testing experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider control-system platforms.
- Experience developing HMI/SCADA applications with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Wonderware, or modern visualization platforms.
- Structured programming experience with Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, and Sequential Function Charts under IEC 61131-3.
- Industrial networking experience with EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and standard fieldbus protocols.
- Proficiency in English and willingness to travel to project sites within the region.
