About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead all technical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Review contract documents, technical specifications, IFC drawings, BOQs, design calculations, and engineering deliverables
- Ensure engineering solutions comply with project requirements, applicable international standards, and local authority regulations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities including civil, electrical, communications, networking, ICT, and ELV systems
- Identify engineering risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide technical leadership to project engineers, CAD engineers, subcontractors, and specialist vendors
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, RFIs, technical queries, and engineering calculations
- Coordinate engineering interfaces between various disciplines to eliminate design conflicts
- Ensure timely resolution of design comments raised by consultants, clients, and authorities
- Review value engineering opportunities
- Support detailed engineering, system integration design, and construction planning
- Review technical compliance of equipment, materials, and vendor solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of ICT, ELV, communications infrastructure and system integration
- AutoCAD and MS Project/Primavera proficiency
- UAE Driving Licence preferred

Position Summary
