Blue Square Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Project Engineer focused on civil infrastructure.

The role leads civil construction activities for infrastructure, underground utilities, chilled water pipelines, and district cooling projects.

The position is responsible for safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery under UAE requirements.

Lead and supervise civil and infrastructure works for chilled water pipeline and district cooling projects.
Plan excavation, trenching, shoring, dewatering, bedding, backfilling, compaction, and reinstatement.
Supervise valve chambers, drain chambers, air valve chambers, manholes, thrust blocks, concrete works, and related structures.
Supervise road crossings, temporary works, kerbstones, paving, asphalt works, and road reinstatement.

Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, profiles, sections, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate surveying for setting out, levels, coordinates, alignment, and invert levels.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, foremen, subcontractors, consultants, QA/QC, HSE, and project teams.
Coordinate with existing utility services and relevant authorities to prevent conflicts and delays.

Ensure construction follows approved method statements, ITPs, drawings, specifications, permits, and project schedules.
Monitor progress, manpower, equipment, materials, productivity, resources, wastage, rework, and construction costs.
Prepare progress reports, inspection requests, material requirements, site records, and technical reports.
Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals, rectification works, and corrective actions.

Provide technical guidance to Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors.
Participate in planning, progress meetings, coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
Support the Project Manager in achieving milestones, cost targets, quality standards, productivity, and timely completion.
Make technical decisions within the approved project scope and company procedures.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
At least seven years of relevant civil construction experience, preferably in infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in district cooling, chilled water pipelines, underground utilities, or similar infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of excavation, trenching, chambers, road works, concrete works, backfilling, compaction, and reinstatement.
Ability to interpret civil and infrastructure drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Experience coordinating consultants, authorities, subcontractors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience supervising Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, and construction teams.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, inspections, and testing requirements.
UAE or GCC infrastructure or district cooling experience is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, planning, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

The role involves civil construction site activities and coordination with project stakeholders and authorities.
The work must comply with UAE HSE requirements, excavation safety, traffic management, permits, environmental requirements, and approved safety procedures.
