Senior Project Engineer

Role Overview

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• At least 5–10 years of experience in industrial project work is required.
• AutoCAD experience is required.
• Experience in plant and equipment maintenance is an added advantage.
• Candidates should know basic engineering fundamentals, communicate effectively, work independently and in teams, troubleshoot issues, and follow safety protocols.

Project Responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage design, construction, commissioning, and delivery of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams and monitor project progress.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, tender materials, and reports.

Technical and Team Leadership

• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
• Provide technical assistance and support to the Project Manager and other project participants.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide technical leadership in design and development and prepare or update engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

Compliance and Skills

• Oversee safety, environmental, and quality compliance throughout project delivery.
• Apply troubleshooting skills, engineering fundamentals, interpersonal skills, communication, independent working, and teamwork.
