Senior Project Control Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and specialized assistance for complex project control and cost control problems.
• Analyze project status against baseline schedules and forecast future performance.
• Set up baseline budgets for resources, revenue, and costs using an appropriate WBS.
• Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report cost status against established baselines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost tracking reports.
• Establish resource, revenue, and cost projections with project teams.
• Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Use historical data and trends to support realistic planning and forecasting.
• Perform Earned Value Management and report EV, EAC, and ETC.
• Support project reviews, business plan finalization, and variance explanations.
• Customize project control systems and ensure costs are properly charged to jobs.
• Maintain construction and design schedules, support billing and collections, prepare trackers, and mentor project controls engineers.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering or Finance degree.
• More than 10 years of experience in construction, design, or related projects.
• Proficiency in project controls software, including PMIS, Oracle-related software, or Primavera.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Stakeholder management capability.
• Power BI knowledge and experience.
