SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Program-Level Software Systems Engineer. #MS

This is a Software System Engineer position supporting the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems.

The candidate in this role will work with both contractors, government civilians, and system operators.

include developing system level features that describe MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to provide guidance for software implementation.

Tasks also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the features.

An MBSE approach is used to document the features using an Agile workflow.

• US Citizenship and ability to work on-site at the customer location in Huntsville, AL
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field; or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree
• 10 or more years of system engineering experience
• IBCS experience
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirements decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages
