About the Role
Build the agents that defend Mico's software platform, AI products, customer data, and end users.
Shape a new product-security function as its senior engineer, with executive sponsorship, a budget, and a mandate to establish how the function operates.
The role focuses on application and product security for software products rather than corporate IT, helpdesk, or compliance ownership.
Security Engineering Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate security agents on the Claude Agent SDK with MCP tool integrations.
- Integrate scanners into one coherent signal, evaluate agents, and conduct red-team testing for false negatives and prompt injection.
- Automate initial responses to customer security questionnaires.
- Threat-model high-risk features, data flows, AI capabilities, authentication, and identity changes.
- Own SAST, secret scanning, dependency security, and supply-chain security in CI.
- Conduct DAST, API security testing, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
- Review application code and API designs and strengthen cross-tenant isolation.
- Manage external specialists and provide technical evidence for ISMS and customer audits.
- Develop security champions, practical training, and reference materials for engineering squads.
