About Us

  • Daanaa is a Vancouver based fabless power electronics and semiconductor company focused on energy generation, storage, distribution, consumption, and management.
  • The company is in early commercialization stages of deep tech power conversion and control technologies for EV, data center, and renewable energy markets.
  • Daanaa's Power Transaction Unit (PTU) consolidates power electronic functions into a single programmable module.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define product vision, positioning, and multi year roadmap for power converter modules and system ICs.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, differentiation, and startup constraints.
  • Engage directly with OEMs, Tier 1s, and key partners to understand system requirements and cost constraints.
  • Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and specifications.
  • Act as voice of the customer within Daanaa and partner with hardware, IC, and firmware teams.
  • Drive key trade offs between performance, cost, risk, and time to market.
  • Support customer engagements, design in efforts, and early stage opportunities.
  • Partner with sales and business development to evaluate opportunities and shape product direction.
  • Define core product messaging and support customer facing materials.
  • Own product business cases, pricing strategy, and success metrics.
  • Track product performance including adoption, revenue, and margin.

You should apply if…

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in power electronics, semiconductors, or hardware systems.
  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MBA is an asset.
  • Successfully taken products from concept through commercialization and production.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, power ICs, and system level trade offs.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, sales, and business development teams.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers.
  • Experience supporting design in cycles and B2B product commercialization.
  • Understanding of pricing, cost structures, and margin optimization.
  • Effective communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Thrives in a fast paced startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: CAD 100,000 – CAD 140,000 annually.
