Daanaa is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define, build, and commercialize power converter modules and system ICs for EV, data center, and renewable energy markets. The role involves product strategy, customer engagement, cross-functional leadership, and go-to-market support.

Responsibilities
- Define product vision, positioning, and multi year roadmap for power converter modules and system ICs
- Engage directly with OEMs, Tier 1s, and key partners to understand system requirements
- Translate customer and market needs into product requirements and specifications
- Partner with hardware, IC, and firmware teams to guide product development
- Support customer engagements, design in efforts, and early stage opportunities
- Own product business cases, pricing strategy, and success metrics
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in power electronics, semiconductors, or hardware systems
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MBA is an asset
- Experience taking products from concept through commercialization and production
- Strong understanding of power systems, power ICs, and system level trade offs
- Experience working with engineering, sales, and business development teams

What you’ll be doing
- Define product vision, positioning, and multi year roadmap for power converter modules and system ICs.
- Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, differentiation, and startup constraints.
- Continuously refine product scope based on customer feedback, business priorities, and resources.
- Engage directly with OEMs, Tier 1s, and key partners to understand system requirements.
- Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and specifications.
- Act as the voice of the customer within Daanaa.
- Partner with hardware, IC, and firmware teams to guide product development.
- Drive key trade offs between performance, cost, risk, and time to market.
- Support customer engagements, design in efforts, and early stage opportunities.
- Partner with sales and business development to evaluate opportunities.
- Define core product messaging and support customer facing materials.
- Own product business cases, pricing strategy, and success metrics.
You should apply if…
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in power electronics, semiconductors, or hardware systems.
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MBA is an asset.
- Successfully taken products from concept through commercialization and production.
- Strong understanding of power systems, power ICs, and system level trade offs.
- Experience working closely with engineering, sales, and business development teams.
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers.
- Experience supporting design in cycles and B2B product commercialization.
- Understand pricing, cost structures, and margin optimization.
- Effective communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts.
- Thrive in a fast paced, startup environment.
Your Compensation and Benefits Package
- Salary range: CAD 100,000 – CAD 140,000 annually.
