About the Role
Securitas Technology Canada seeks a Senior Product Manager for Instantel to own the product roadmap and strategy for technically complex monitoring products. You will translate customer needs into product requirements, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the long term product strategy for all Instantel product lines.
- Own the multi year product roadmap.
- Gather product requirements through direct interaction with customers, dealers, and industry partners.
- Translate customer needs into clear, prioritized product requirements and functional specifications.
- Participate throughout the product development process, clarifying requirements and evaluating trade offs.
- Manage products throughout their lifecycle from concept to end of life.
- Recommend product positioning, pricing strategy, and value propositions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Technology, or another relevant technical discipline.
- Approximately 10 years of progressively responsible experience in product management.
- Demonstrated success managing technically complex products.
- Experience developing product strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience translating customer requirements into product specifications.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams throughout product development.
- Experience launching commercial products.
- Experience with hardware, embedded firmware, software, cloud platforms, or integrated systems.

Position Summary

- The role owns the product roadmap, functional specifications, product lifecycle, and long term portfolio strategy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Technology, or related technical discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate business education is an asset.
- Approximately 10 years of progressively responsible experience.
- Demonstrated success managing technically complex products.
- Experience with hardware, embedded firmware, software, cloud platforms, or integrated systems.
Work Environment
- Based at Instantel's Ottawa headquarters with flexible hybrid work arrangement.
- On site minimum three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday).
- Significant travel domestically and internationally (20 30%).
