About the Role
Own MapleJet’s industrial coding, printing, and automation product portfolio from market requirements through development, commercialization, training, and lifecycle management.
Act as the bridge between customers, partners, Sales, Technical Support, Operations, Marketing, and R&D.
Serve as the central owner of product knowledge and commercial readiness.
Product Ownership and Release
- Maintain the roadmap, product configurations, options, accessories, software features, regional variations, positioning, and portfolio reviews.
- Evaluate commercial and customer impact of R&D outputs and manage formal commercial release processes.
- Ensure releases include technical specifications, documentation, training, troubleshooting, support, marketing, and partner communications.
Product Information and Market Intelligence
- Maintain product guides, specifications, application notes, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, compatibility information, evaluations, and cost targets.
- Collect product intelligence from customers, distributors, agents, OEM partners, subsidiaries, Sales, Field Engineers, Support, competitors, and market developments.
- Maintain a Product Requirements Register and validate genuine market requirements before prioritizing them for R&D.
Training and Support Automation
- Establish role-based technical training, competency matrices, examinations, practical assessments, grading, certification, and recertification.
- Manage partner onboarding, customer operator training, installation training, technical updates, and training effectiveness.
- Automate training assignment, certification monitoring, knowledge-base access, guided diagnostics, self-service support, and specialist escalation.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 7 or more years of relevant experience with meaningful technical product ownership.
- Experience in technical B2B product management and transferring products from development into commercial release.
- Ability to understand mechanical, electronic, software, and fluid-system concepts.
- Strong documentation, technical writing, product positioning, Voice of Customer, training, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Highly Desirable Experience
- Industrial coding and marking, inkjet printing, packaging machinery, industrial automation, machine vision, traceability systems, Industrial IoT, or printing technology.
- OEM product development, distributor or channel management, product lifecycle management, training automation, or AI-enabled knowledge and support systems.
Success Measures
Maintain one reliable source of product information and controlled movement from R&D to market.
Ensure current documentation, evidence-based R&D priorities, measurable technical competency, and continuously trained partners and customers.
Increase automation of routine training and first-line support while reducing dependence on individual employees.
