The Senior Product Engineer will lead design, governance, and strategic development of enterprise-scale Modern Workplace and Mobility solutions.
This is a strategic, design-led role responsible for High-Level Design, technical strategy, design governance, and architectural assurance.
The role works with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, engineering, security, and service management teams.
Location and contract
- The role is UK-based and remote first, with work performed predominantly remotely.
- The engagement is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Occasional travel to customer, partner, and vendor sites may be required.
Essential requirements
- Active UK SC Clearance is mandatory, and candidates must be UK-based and authorized to work in the UK.
- Proven large-enterprise experience and strong architectural design and technical governance experience are required.
- Candidates need experience translating business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions.
- Strong security, compliance, resilience, operational, supportability, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
Required technical experience
- Experience with mobility and endpoint management, including Intune, MDM, MAM, Apple Business Manager, Google Zero Touch, iOS, iPadOS, Android Enterprise, and macOS.
- Experience with mobile security, compliance, enterprise device lifecycle management, specialist and ruggedized devices, AR/VR technologies, and application packaging or vulnerability remediation.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Windows Autopilot, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, IAM, and enterprise-scale endpoint services.
Key responsibilities
- Own and govern High-Level Designs and define solution architectures, service strategies, technical standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Support Product Owners and Enterprise Architects with service evolution, strategic direction, and alignment to enterprise architecture.
- Provide architectural assurance and lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, assessments, and innovation activities.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, operational, resilience, and supportability requirements.
- Provide cross-product design leadership across Windows, virtual, mobile, specialist, and ruggedized devices.
- Act as a technical authority, engage customers and vendors, and identify improvements to resilience, service quality, automation, and operational efficiency.
